You know when you lose something and just accept that it’s gone? Well I thought my planet express t shirt was gone for good but my mum found it in my dad’s wardrobe and I am so happy!! Can you tell? Hehe.
Well Tumblr, I made it through my End of Year Show :D Despite the rocky start of finding out I didn’t get the residency place (they selected 4 people from Textiles and Fashion, giving the Textile Art place to them), it went well and it was a great buzz just talking to people about my work and getting such positive feedback. Had a good few people interested in buy the work, with this one attracting the most attention. Those photos of me with the Mario blocks and the Space Invader shit shooter where from my friend Gemma’s display, her work was a little nerdgasm, hehe.
And being the fuck ups that they are, University of Ulster released our degree classifications yesterday instead of Monday aaannndddd… I GOT A 2:1 :D so over the moon with it.
To top off an already awesome weekend, I spent the whole of yesterday eating chinese and accusing men with size 8 shoes of being murders playing LA Noire. I’ll probably make a separate post about it cause this is long enough already!
I actually felt alot better after work tonight. Whatever happens, happens. I’m proud of my work and at the end of the day, that’s the most important thing. I also put on make up and wore my nice new dress which probably made a difference too, heh.
This is my reaction when I realised how small Freddos are these days. And don’t gimme that ‘you’re hands were smaller’ bullshit, I haven’t grown since P7!

We went out to celebrate our friend Judith’s birthday, but one of the bars in the place we usually go to is being refurbished at the minute so they’re only letting half as many people in as usual, but we went down early and I knew someone already in the queue so we just about got in, but everyone else didn’t so that kinda sucked :( but we had funtimez anyway <3
I look terrified in most of the photos from last night, I can’t smile for shit, hah. Melanie and Vanessa look like wee babes tho!
I bought ‘Indie Craft’ today and i’m looking forward to having a good read through it! I’ll hopefully have some pages scanned in in the next few days, there’s some cool stuff in there!

Ignore my face and just gaze into his eyes. He was such a lovely lovely man too, was just up on the balcony watching the support act and no one noticed him until I went up and asked for his photo, then he got mobbed, haha. I felt alittle guilty after that but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to meet my favourite silver fox.
That was an unnecessary ramble but eh, I BLOODY LOVE WE ARE SCIENTISTS!!
