For those that couldn’t make it to Castleward my work is now up in the SpaceCraft gallery in Belfast for the month of September :) This will probably be the last time this work will be exhibited together, want to move on so mon and see it if you can!
It was a nice, wee festival, not totally packed but that meant that there wasn’t huge queues for anything and you could actually see the bands. And the toilets got cleaned every morning, YEEFUCKIN’OOO!
Only downside was the wee dicks that camped beside us, had to listen to them talk shite all the time. Typical festival going 17/18 year olds, talking about how wasted they were, acting ‘random’ and wearing dick all clothes. I swear, I seen enough tits and arses to last me a life time. One of the girls didn’t change her fishnets and arse exposing shorts all weekend. Dirt bird.
But aye, for 45 quid it was pretty damn good. Didn’t see loads of band but the ones I did see were awesome as ever, particularly the headliners Not Squares and MojoFURY. Next year me and Toni are thinking of getting a stall to sell random crafty things which would be fun, though I don’t know if the sellers can drink, haha.
Going to this tomorrow for the pure bant. There’s not even that many bands I want to see apart from MojoFURY and Not Squares but it seems like a laugh and there’s lots of random things going other than the bands. I just can’t wait to have a few days away from the melt that is work at the moment.

We were just talking about this when I came home from work then my sister text my mum just after she left to say that the pregnant woman was one of her best friends! She’s okay though, got checked out at the Ulster Hospital. Would have been so scary!

The Belfast Roller Derby are having an in-take on 12th August! I’ll probably go down for the craic, my sister runs it and I still haven’t went to anything apart from a few pub quizzes, haha. Even if you want to just come down to see what it’s all about you’re more than welcome. Guys can also come to be refs! They do have some kit to rent but it’s better if you can being you’re own stuff. The only thing is you must be over 18, you’ll need to bring ID on the night to prove it.

I actually haven’t listened to much Odd Future cause Tumblr was all over and I left like I came late to the party and couldn’t be assed listening to them but I’ll get on it now. Jimmy Eat World I will always love and they’re great live but stuck in with a hip hop line?
It’s 50 quid and I don’t know if I would be up for paying that to go to Bangor. Dour Festival is only like 100 euro and would be miles better craic.
One of my exs is the editor of a local mag called AU and he just tweeted about the next act that’s going to be announced for the Tennents Vital festival tomorow, saying that it is going to “turn heads and ruffle feathers” and when I asked more he said “Made me do a “wow”, and a bit of a “wtf?!”. You’ll be pleased by a small part of it I reckon. ;-)”… I AM SO CURIOUS NOW!

This is for any Belfast/Northern Irish folk that fancy coming round to look and some awesome new artists! The opening night is this Friday and will be on for a week after. I never ask for people to reblog stuff but this is for a good cause, heh.
I know this is true to an extent, but the one in Eblana Street wasn’t just a scare, they found a bomb and had to carry out a controlled explosion on it. It is worrying when your friends live on the street right beside where it was all happening. The police were still outside it at 10 when I was leaving my boyfriend’s this morning.
